Temozolomide is a DNA alkylating agent, methylating the guanine and adenine bases of DNA, causing breaks in DNA double strand, cell cycle arrest, and eventually cell death. Temozolomide acid has an activity similar to the parent compound Temozolomide with the same anticancer activity.
