Rat Collagen Type I and III, 10 mg from Ace Therapeutics is purified from rat tissue. Type I collagen is the most abundant collagen and is found in connective tissues including tendons, ligaments, dermis, and blood vessels. Type III collagen is the second most abundant collagen in tissues and is found most commonly in tissues exhibiting elastic properties such as skin, lungs, intestinal walls, and walls of blood vessels, which resembles other fibrillar collagens in structure and function.

Rat Tail Tendon Collagen Type I from Ace Therapeutics is purified from rat tail by the Birkedal-Hansen method. This product can form a three-dimensional glue with a certain strength when the concentration is above 1mg/mL and the pH is around 7. Note: This product can quickly gel at RT when the pH is neutral. Keep the temperature as low as possible during the operation.

The rat tail collagen I provided by Ace Therapeutics is prepared according to the Birkedal-Hansen method through acetic acid extraction, sodium chloride precipitation, and disodium hydrogen phosphate precipitation. This product is a sterile solution dissolved in 6mM HAc, with a concentration of 5mg/ml. Each batch of products passes cell culture testing (including three-dimensional space culture) to ensure quality reliability. Note: Please keep the entire operation at a low temperature on ice because rat tail collagen I at room temperature can quickly form a gel.
