The Product can be used as a thin layer on tissue culture surfaces to enhance cell adhesion and proliferation, or as a glue layer to promote the expression of specific cell morphology and function. The product is typically used to culture endothelial cells, stem cells, muscle cells, and a variety of other cells.

Collagen Type VI is a multi-domain ECM. Its heterotrimeric chains pack into a microfibrillar network through tetramerization and tail-end linkage. Human Collagen Type VI from Ace Therapeutics is a purified collagen from adult placenta tissue. This product is usually used for coating and can also be added to cell culture fluid.

Collagens Type I-P is pepsin-solubilized Type-I collagen derived from pig tendon. The product has low viscosity, making it easy to handle and form gels.

Rat Tail Tendon Collagen Type I, 5mg/ml is prepared by the method of Birkedal-Hansen through acetic acid extraction, sodium chloride precipitation, disodium hydrogen phosphate precipitation, and other steps.
